Since we started training technicians four years ago a number of disillusioned individuals and organisations jumped on the band wagon claiming to offer so-called installer training. Needless to say there are a large number of dissapointed people who spent hard earned money on further education, who's only memory is one of dissapointment . We're not telling you to use us, merely warning you that a lot of people have been disappointed especially in the last year.

If you're considering a career in the satellite industry, make very sure you choose a respectable training facility with proficient instructors, covering the entire spectrum of satellite installations! Anybody claiming to be a trainer can teach you how to drill holes and align a satellite dish, but only a handful of people enjoy the skills, abilities and enthusiasm to teach the more complexed elements, clearly distinguishing the boys from the men, which for staters leads to achieving a high standard of professionalism in an industry plagued with unqualified installers.

    Satellite Technician - Level 1 Theoretical

    NEXT COURSE DATE: 09 JANUARY 2012 - CAPE TOWN

    This course is aimed at individuals and/or groups seeking entry level theoretical training in Ku band satellite installations. At the end of the course, students are required to pass the theoretical examination in order to become certified.
    This course is available online and/or at our training facility.

    Modules:

    Requirements: Students must be able to read and write in English.
    Online courses requires internet access for a minimum of 10 hours per level.
    Duration: 8 hours

    Satellite Technician - Level 2 Theoretical

    Satellite Technician - Refresher - Existing Installer

    NEXT COURSE DATE: 11 JANUARY 2012 - CAPE TOWN

    This course is aimed at existing entry level installers requiring detailed theoretical assistance in the subjects mentioned below. At the end of the course, students are required to pass both the theoretical and practical examinations in order to become certified.
    This course is only available at our training facilities.

    Requirements: Existing Installer
    Duration: 8-9 hours
    Cost: R2'500.00

    *We provide coffee, tea, beverages and lunch for the duration of the training. Students are responsible for transport to and from the venue as well as accommodation, if required.
    *Payment is strictly in advance and bookings will only be confirmed once payment reflects in our bank account. Classes are limited to a maximum of 10 students per session in order to provide individual attention to all learners.
    *Groups of five students or more qualify for a discount. please discuss this option with us in person.
