When Sats R Us founders Hennie and Tertia Pretorius (previous owners of the Sats R Us Franchise Group) made this observation a few years ago, they were defining their view to build lasting relationships with their customers. They set the tone and direction for a young company, and today those same words inspire a new generation of Satellite Solutions employees. Their valuable understanding of the satellite industry, coupled with the innovative approach exhibited by Pieter Oosthuizen, the new member and previous owner of Sats R Us - East Rand, established a stimulating voice in the satellite industry.
Our goal is to carry on this legacy of innovative thinking, whether to import and distribute extraordinary quality products, or to create business opportunities that set our group apart from the competition and provide value for our customers.
They started when the requirement for a competent technical training facility became evidently necessary in the field. Considered a specialist on satellite technology at the time, Pretorius created a basic document detailing the specification of equipment and minimum requirements for effective workmanship. As more and more valuable information became available, this document soon grew to a more than 200 page training manual, covering all aspects of satellite and installation technology, which are still being used by our technicians and trainers today.
The company then started, evolved and grew from a South African based one man DStv installer to a global marketer of satellite equipment and HDMi components that is unrivaled in the world.
Our team of highly qualified and experienced technicians, will deal with your installation in a professional manner and ensure your equipment is installed to our high standards of quality and workmanship. We install DSTV-; Top TV- and Free-to-Air systems all over Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand, East Rand, Cape Town, Ga-Rankuwa, Soshanguve, Hammanskraal and Rustenburg.
We guarantee any installation for 12 months, which means if you are not 100% satisfied with your installation, we would gladly return to rectify any errors within 48 hours.
All our technicians passed the Delevex theoretical and practical examinations and are continuously trained with the latest technologies and installation options.
We install in excess of 200 satellite systems per month. If we had dissatisfied customers, you would have heard from or read about them in the DStv Forum or Hellopeter.com, believe me.
We only use 64 braid and genuine copper cable, not 32 or less braids, which disintegrate with DC over a period of time.
We refuse to install parts that have caused us trouble in the past. We give a 12 months guarantee on installation and cant afford comebacks due to sub-standard parts.
We are preferred and accredited DStv & Top TV installer and the only accredited satellite training facility in South Africa.
We will not drill unnecessary holes, damage your house or furniture or leave a mess behind. The only thing we promise to leave behind is piece of mind and professionalism.
We offer full telephonic and online technical support, something you don't see a lot today!
We import a large number of our products and equipment direct, allowing us the advantage of exceptional quality at extremely competitive pricing.
We distribute and install FTA, C-band, data and two way equipment to any satellite with a footprint over South Africa.
We installed 60% of the commercial installations you encounter daily at your local restaurants, B&B's, sport bars and hotels.
